Travis Kelce Discusses Birthday Wishes and Taylor Swift’s Attendance
Travis Kelce recently shared his birthday wish while attending the second annual Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City, Missouri. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end celebrated his 35th birthday during this occasion. When asked about his birthday gift this year, he humorously stated, "I’ll take another Super Bowl if you got one of those."
The charity car exhibition aimed to raise money for children in the Kansas City and Cleveland areas. Although Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, did not attend the event, he reassured the Raising Cane's staff that she plans to be at the Chiefs’ game against the Saints on Monday. Kelce confirmed, "She will not be here [today]. But I know she’s coming in for the game."
Earlier this week, on his "New Heights" podcast, Kelce mentioned showcasing a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle at the charity event. This vehicle holds significance since he and Swift drove it through Kansas City after her first Chiefs game last year. Kelce explained the second-year event’s format: "We’ve done a car show, basically a block-party style event, that will showcase some of the city’s top automobiles from the Fuel House."
He adds, "I should have my old-school ’70 Chevelle all revved up and ready to rock and roll. If not, I’ll bring one of the other cars that I have." This birthday marks a notable moment for Kelce, as it is his first without Swift since they publicly began dating in September 2023. Last year, reports indicated that Swift spent a "chill night" with him in Missouri for his 34th birthday.
While last year’s birthday celebration included a lively parking lot gathering with friends and Dutch cigars, this year featured family present. His brother, Jason, and parents Ed and Donna joined him shortly after landing in Kansas City for the event.
