The woman shared her joy on Reddit, describing how thrilled she was to get an invitation for both her and her husband to her friend's wedding. The invite was beautiful, and she proudly displayed it on her fridge, expressing her love for weddings and recollecting her joyous involvement as a wedding singer. However, all her excitement dissipated as she read the accompanying notecard. The bride requested her to stay in a designated room at the church, babysitting children along with other female guests instead of attending the wedding activities. She would even have her reception meal in this childcare room.

Moreover, the notecard informed her that she needed to pay £100 for her meal and an additional fee to RSVP via their chosen website. This astonished the woman, especially given her physical disability that necessitates assistance like using oxygen, a walker, or sometimes a wheelchair. The absurdity became more profound considering their close bond akin to being sisters.

This 'tacky' invitation didn’t only baffle her but outraged people on social media. Many advised her to disregard the invitation to avoid the RSVP fee. One user remarked, "That is the tackiest thing I've ever heard of. Asking guests to provide free childcare, pay for their meals, and give them a gift? Hell no. I wouldn't even RSVP; I would just ghost these people. They might have been your friends, but they aren't good people, and this behavior will only escalate."
