A former FBI agent named the safest hotel room numbers and explained why she chooses them

Tracy Walder, who worked as an officer in the CIA and an agent in the FBI from 2000 to 2005, has learned to take extra precautions when traveling. In particular, she doesn't stay in just any hotel room; instead, she chooses the safest one available.

According to her, the choice should be made on the third floor of the hotel. The words of the former CIA officer were reported by the SSPDaily.

Tracy Walder said she always chooses the third floor of a hotel. According to her, this height is enough to prevent thieves from climbing through a window from the street or descending from the roof. However, in a pinch, escaping from a third-floor window is not as traumatic as escaping from higher rooms.

If there are no options on the third floor, she asks for a room on the 4th or 5th floor. Tracy Walder also emphasized that she never stays in a private house or apartment of other people. She does not consider such options safe and does not trust the comments on the network.
