Influencer rejects 5,000 single men who responded to boyfriend application
Dutch influencer and OnlyFans star, Vera Dijkmans, recently made waves after posting a viral boyfriend application, but it seems she's had no luck in finding her perfect match. Despite being contacted by thousands of single men, the 23-year-old social media sensation remains single, SSP reported.
Dijkmans, known for her 5.5 million Instagram followers, shared a TikTok video showcasing her old-fashioned "dating app" approach. She set certain criteria for potential suitors, throwing in unexpected questions like their opinion on the show "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and whether they would provide her with a walk-in closet if they lived together.
While over 5,000 hopeful applicants responded to her unconventional method, none of them met her standards. Dijkmans admitted that out of the pool, she only found three guys suitable enough to go on dates with but ultimately didn't connect with any of them.
Despite the disappointing outcome, Dijkmans considers the experiment a success. It allowed her to be upfront about her expectations and see which men aligned with her criteria. Along the way, she also came across some truly peculiar applications.
One applicant offered to exchange blood samples, while another lived with their parents despite owning a boat. Another claimed to have a full-time career but wouldn't provide Dijkmans with a walk-in wardrobe. Although rejecting thousands of candidates might seem selective or even unrealistic, Dijkmans stands by her pickiness, believing it's crucial not to compromise her needs in the pursuit of a partner.
As an OnlyFans top earner, making $360,000 per month, Dijkmans has faced unexpected attention in the past. She discovered that one of her former teachers subscribed to her adult content platform, despite discouraging her during her student years.
For now, Dijkmans has temporarily halted her boyfriend's search but remains open to options. She firmly holds onto the belief that she'll wait for the right person rather than settle for less.
