Connecticut Man Encounters Garage-Intruding Bear

A man from Connecticut shared a startling video of a close encounter with a black bear in his garage.
Andrew Hart, representing Hart Curb Appeal LLC, was at a job site in Bloomfield when he discovered the unexpected visitor.
Security camera footage captures Hart approaching the driveway towards the garage. Suddenly, the bear appears from behind the open door, prompting Hart to retreat quickly.
"Safe to say I need new pants after that one," Hart remarked to WFSB-TV.
According to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the local black bear population has seen a significant rise. In 2023, sightings were reported in 165 out of 169 cities and towns statewide.
