Mum Reacts Faster Than Flash After Seeing Gigantic Gorilla On Baby Monitor
A pregnant mother experienced a shocking incident after mistaking a toy for an ape on her baby monitor. Maddy Lindhorst was engaging in her daily activities when she checked the monitor and felt a wave of panic wash over her. She believed a gigantic gorilla was sitting casually in her living room. "I have never moved so fast to go and see what the heck was making it look like that," she shared in a now-viral TikTok video. This clip has garnered a staggering 33 million views.
Boldly, Maddy decided to confront the "rogue chimp." However, she soon realized her mistake. Upon entering the room, she discovered it was her son’s toy gorilla positioned closely to the camera. At the time of writing, her video has amassed an impressive 4.7 million likes along with thousands of comments.
"My flabbers were gasted, because why does it look so real?" commented one viewer. Another added, "I cannot imagine thinking there was a random gorilla in my house, but that would convince me too." A third person shared, "I would've died out of shock, I think," and another remarked, "This had no business making me laugh the way it did." When asked about her response had it been a real gorilla, Maddy candidly said, "I had absolutely no plan other than my baby was inside the house, so I had to run in there." Another user posted, "I'm not a mother, child-free even, but even I know that this is absolutely the one and only first plan. Everything else comes once you are rational again."
