The 5 Weirdest and Wildest Stunts Crowned by Guinness World Records in 2024
Guinness World Records featured its oddest and wildest stunts of 2024 in its latest 2025 edition. This edition anticipates its 70th anniversary and includes records such as a teen with enormous feet, an astonishing number of Squishmallows, and captivating dog tricks.
Largest Hands and Feet on a Teenager
Meet Eric, a 16-year-old from Michigan. He has the largest hands and feet of any teenager. While most men wear sizes between 9 and 12, Eric wears an extraordinary size 23. Although he can find shoes, he struggles to locate gloves that fit his massive hands.
"It can be hard to deal with people staring or asking questions, but it gives you more chances to meet great friends," Eric explained to Guinness World Records.
From a young age, Eric recognized he was different. He was always taller and larger than his classmates. However, his family supported him in embracing his size.
"It is okay to stand out," Eric stated confidently.
Most Dog Tricks Performed Under Time Restraint
Bonnie and Simba, two talented dogs from the United Kingdom, claimed the record for the most dog tricks performed under a time limit.
These hounds have multiple records for their impressive stunts. They achieved the fastest time for completing 10 side leapfrog jumps by two dogs in 16.78 seconds. Also, they set records for 16 bottles deposited in a recycling bin in one minute and 13 coins dropped into a bottle in that same timeframe.
Additionally, Bonnie and Simba hold the record for hanging the most clothes on a washing line by a dog in one minute, securing 17 items.
Largest Collection of Squishmallows
Sabrina Dausman, a 27-year-old from Illinois, holds the record for the largest Squishmallows collection, boasting 1,528 plush toys.
Her journey with these toys began in 2018 when she found "Fern the Valentine’s Fox" at Walmart.
"It was just meant for me to collect them!" said Dausman. She plans to continue her collection and create custom Squishmallows soon.
Heaviest Single Repetition Weighted Pull-Up in a Wheelchair
Adnan Almousa Alfermli, a 25-year-old from Syria, earned the title for the heaviest single-repetition weighted pull-up in a wheelchair. He successfully lifted 71.8 pounds while seated.
Most Backside 540 Skateboard Tricks in One Minute
Ema Kawakami, a 9-year-old, set the record with the most backside 540 skateboard tricks in one minute. The young Japanese skateboarder executed 13 tricks within 60 seconds.
The 2025 edition of Guinness World Records, released on September 12, contains an extensive list of record-breaking achievements beyond Skateboard tricks and large collections. It includes 2,115 records, such as the most backward walkovers in 30 seconds, the tallest Gundam costume, and the largest electric toothbrush.
"Over the past year, we’ve reviewed nearly 30,000 applications," Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, shared in a statement. "The result is a book filled with thousands of amazing facts and feats for the family to enjoy."
