Customer leaves a touching note for KFC staff member
A KFC customer recently shared a heartwarming experience after being "chased" out of the restaurant by an enthusiastic staff member. Kirk Johnstone visited a local KFC branch and was highly impressed by the consistent customer service offered by employee Lynne, especially when dealing with difficult customers. Deeply moved by her dedication, Kirk decided to express his appreciation through a thoughtful note. This is prepared by SSP.
Kirk's gesture of gratitude quickly garnered attention on social media, sparking hundreds of comments praising Lynne and inspiring others to share their positive experiences with her. Former employees and loyal patrons also joined in, showering Lynne with well-deserved accolades.
Sharing the encounter on Facebook, Kirk wrote, "I've just been CHASED out of KFC. If you have ever been in [this branch of] KFC, then you will have seen this lady, Lynne. I've been here a few times and always noticed how she puts up with people's rudeness, cleans up after them, and never stops." Kirk continued to highlight how Lynne effortlessly managed the workload, including running food out to waiting cars while ensuring the front of the store remained pristine. He also witnessed an incident where a customer had lost their phone, and despite Lynne initially stating she hadn't found it, she meticulously searched through every bin in the store. Kirk concluded by stating that whatever Lynne was being paid, it was simply not enough.
Moved by his observations, Kirk left a touching note for Lynne, attaching a £20 bill. The note read, "Hi Lynne. I see the hard work you do. You are appreciated. Keep going."
The heartwarming story quickly struck a chord with Facebook users, who shared their own encounters with Lynne and echoed Kirk's praises. One user mentioned, "I worked with Lynne in my first job, and she mothered us all. She's such a lovely lady. What a lovely thing to do." Another added, "It was the same when she worked in Burger King. She has a heart of gold. She is being taken advantage of there."
