Mysterious SUV Perched on Dumpster in Florida
An intriguing scene unfolded in Fort Myers, Florida, where an SUV was found atop a dumpster. This surprising sight involved a misjudged parking job, a bustling construction site, and a forklift, NBC2 reported.
Scott Greenberg noticed the unusual sight while on his way to the store. "I had to do a double take. I texted my buddy. I'm like, 'Is that fair game? Is that free? It's in the dumpster,'" Greenberg told WBBH-TV.
The SUV, balanced perfectly on the dumpster, had been lifted by a construction worker with a forklift. The decision was prompted by the vehicle being left in a restricted work area at a construction site for a new apartment complex off East Point Drive.
"Sometimes when you park where you're not supposed to, this is what happens," a construction worker commented.
Later, the vehicle was relocated to a proper parking space without visible damage. According to the construction team, the SUV is owned by a contractor who lends it to out-of-town workers needing transportation.
