This man interrupts every influencer he sees shooting videos in public
A social media user, whose identity remains undisclosed, has gained attention for his unconventional approach to dealing with influencers in public spaces. This individual has taken it upon themselves to interrupt influencers when they are in the midst of recording videos in an effort to remind them that the environment belongs to everyone. This is reported by SSP.
Describing it as their "absolute mission," this social media user actively disrupts influencers engaged in what they perceive as "s***y tik-tok dances." The aim is to prevent these potentially viral recordings from dominating parks and public spaces. Fellow internet users have applauded this person's endeavors, appreciating their refusal to grant special privileges to influencers.
However, not everyone agrees with this approach. Some Reddit users argue that it is unfair to hinder those who are recording videos of themselves in public places. Yet, the user known as RemoteGlobal005 firmly stands by their decision, countering any footage showcasing the questionable dances with scenic images of the surrounding lush greenery.
Expressing their stance on influencers, RemoteGlobal005 stated, "I make it my absolute mission to be an a**hole to entitled influencers. When in a public place, there is no reason to be 'influencing,' especially in a way that demands space, takes away from the scenery and ambience that the public is sharing together. It's essential to remind influencers that public spaces belong to everyone, and the most effective way to do so is to interrupt their influencing altogether."
Detailing their confrontations, the antagonistic approach involves positioning themselves strategically within the frame of the influencer's shoot and deliberately capturing images that exclude the influencer. This action often triggers shouted complaints from the influencers themselves, questioning the purpose of this disruption.
While some Reddit users appreciate these attempts to sabotage influencer videos, considering the actions to be a necessary wake-up call, not everyone shares this sentiment. Disapproving of the interference, one user responded, saying, "So basically, you are being an anti-influencer influencer and bragging about it for imaginary points on the Internet. But they're wrong, and you're right?" Another individual criticized the disruptive behavior, labeling the person as a "bad person" who spreads negativity around like a disease.
