Woman Discovers Doppelgänger From Almost 200 Years Ago
A woman has gained widespread attention on TikTok after finding her doppelgänger. This striking lookalike is her great-great-great-great grandmother. Lindsay Bullis, 28, was researching her ancestry when she found a photo that mirrored her own face. This is prepared by SSP.
"This resemblance is uncanny," Lindsay remarked about Mary Beckwith, her fourth grandmother. Mary lived from 1805 to 1873. Lindsay's TikTok clip comparing their pictures gained over 4.6 million views, leading users to believe she might be a time traveller.
Lindsay shared her experience, "I stumbled across Mary's picture while searching for relatives on my paternal side." She recounted what she discovered. "Her full name is Mary Beckwith. She was born in New York and later died in Wisconsin. Mary had one son. Her husband, Abraham Bullis, was a Civil War surgeon. That’s about all I know," she added. This connection feels special to Lindsay.
Living in Wisconsin, Lindsay posted her video showcasing the resemblance. "Found a pic of my 4th great grandma, and I have her face," she captioned the post. The response online was overwhelming. One user exclaimed, "GIRL THAT'S YOU! Welcome back!" Another added, "You are her!" A third commenter remarked, "Omg, you look exactly like her! It’s uncanny." A skeptic claimed, "I don’t buy it. You are a time traveller."
Additional users contributed theories as well. One suggested, "They say you reincarnate into the same families." Another responded, "This screams reincarnation. It’s hard to deny. You are her!" The agreement on the resemblance was strong; a user stated, "Identical." Someone else reflected, "Her soul needed to come back, and here you are!"
